There are three basic types of in-ground pools, categorized by their material: Fiberglass, Concrete (also called Gunite or Shotcrete), and Vinyl Liner pools.
Sleepy Hollow only builds pools for our neighbors in Kentucky, and we’re passionate about fiberglass pools because we’ve seen the stress-free, long-term joy they provide local homeowners.

I could not be any happier with the construction process and end result. The knowledge, professionalism and dependability of their team was absolutely outstanding.Jim R. from Prospect, KY
Color Options
The long-lasting color options available for the gelcoat surface of a fiberglass pool allow you to place your signature mark on your pool design.
Additional Benefits of Fiberglass Pools
Fiberglass has the quick installation time, longevity, budget, and maintenance preferences our clients are looking for.
Low Maintenance
Fiberglass pools are the easiest type of pool to maintain. Run the filter daily, brush weekly, and maintain the proper water chemistry.
The non-porous gelcoat surface of a fiberglass pool makes it more difficult for algae to grow. This means you’ll use fewer chemicals, less filtration, and spend less time overall on maintenance and cleaning.
Quick Installation
Fiberglass pools are by far the quickest type of pool to install. From the delivery of the shell to your first dip in the water takes an average of 4 - 6 weeks.
That certainly beats the 3-6 months you would have to wait for a concrete pool to be installed, and even clocks in faster than the 4-8 weeks you would be waiting for a vinyl pool.
Initial and Lifetime Cost
Fiberglass Pools are simply the best in overall long-term value.
Fiberglass is much less expensive than concrete, both in its upfront cost and in its upkeep and maintenance costs.
The initial investment in a fiberglass pool is slightly higher than a vinyl pool. However, without the maintenance and repair costs that a vinyl liner pool has, over the lifetime of the pool, fiberglass is less expensive.
Add-ons and Accessories
We know that there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all design. Every pool we build is shaped by your lifestyle, your preferences, the natural layout of your yard, and what you have been dreaming about.
